The library is open to the public by appointment every week day, from Monday to Friday: students, teachers, professionals working in horticulture or mere amateurs who are passionate about plants.

The library is an indispensable scientific tool for the various missions of the Botanical Garden. The library's holdings cover fields such as horticulture, botany, plant biology and arboriculture.

A reading room – composed of periodical displays, a work table and a computer station – is available to readers.

The library is part of the network of libraries associated with Université de Lorraine. Our shared library catalogue is accessible to all.

The search engine allows you to consult all the catalogues of the Université de Lorraine libraries simultaneously.

The library catalogue of the Botanical Gardens of Métropole du Grand Nancy and Université de Lorraine is also integrated into the SUDOC catalogue, i.e. the French collective catalogue of libraries and documentation centres for higher education and research.
